Director and founder of The Hair Lounge, Gregg Westwood is an experienced hairdresser and barber, who has over twenty years of experience. The Hair Lounge opened its doors in 2018 with state-of-the-art facilities and stylish décor; the salon is the only aspect that’s new, as the team are highly qualified and seasoned professionals from one of the UK’s top hairdressers.
So, whether you need an up-do to turn heads at prom or a wedding, a blow-dry for a night out with the girls or a day at the races, a sharp hair and beard trim or a colour that stuns – there’s a stylist to suit you.
Our stylists are fully trained in hairdressing and barbering – we cut and style hair for men and women. We take our responsibilities very seriously and pride ourselves on full skin testing.
Flexible and connected
Our reception team are very friendly and will help you book your hair appointment. You can secure slots during our busiest times, which are usually on a Friday and Saturday or in preparation for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, summer holidays, summer weddings, Christmas and New Year.
We value your custom and will reward your loyalty; we also offer one late night a week for those of you who cannot attend during the day.

With over two decades of experience, Gregg is passionate about creating glamorous styles and unforgettable salon experiences. Based in Wollaston, Stourbridge, he leads a friendly, award-winning team and specialises in cutting and colouring women’s hair – from long, flowing locks to bold, edgy colour transformations.
Jackie
Principle Stylist
Jackie has been passionate about hair since 1994 and brings decades of experience to her role as Principal Stylist. Renowned for her expert cuts, colours, and signature up-dos, she’s your go-to for flawless styling on special occasions. Jackie has worked with leading industry names and has been a trusted figure in hair since 1998.
Becky
Stylist
Becky began her journey in hair as a receptionist at Umberto Giannini, before transitioning into a full hairdressing apprenticeship. Now a qualified stylist and BeautyWorks hair extensionist, she loves making her clients feel amazing with the right colour, cut, and added volume. Outside the salon, she enjoys quality time with her two children, Keira and Jack.
Imogen
Apprentice Stylist
Imogen is our brilliant apprentice stylist, currently studying hairdressing at college while gaining first-hand experience in the salon. From assisting the team to practising cutting and colouring techniques, she’s getting a real feel for life in the industry. Passionate, eager to learn, and always ready to help, Imogen is working her way up with enthusiasm and dedication.
